Before there was the computer, inkjet printing and dye-sublimation the only way to get text or an image on an object was with stickers or the airbrush. At Gemini:School of Fine Art, I fell in love with the airbrush! I painted on everything. The examples above are of paintings on truck tire covers, leather jackets and illustration board. I have painted on golf club bags, bicycle helmets, baseballs for the Fiesta Bowl, banners, walls and cars. Shortly after learning the airbrush, the computer came into play and the need for airbrushing was significantly diminished. It was of great benefit to me because it greatly affected my ability to construct and design in Photoshop.
